For our family here at Fourwinds we love so much about the idea of Homesteading. It seems to have an bit of a USA kind of sound to it and there are terms and words which are different here and there but its still the same.

• Self Sufficient 
• Life style block
• Weather...this affects us a lot being so exposed and living in the north of NZ. Can get very exciting.
