Many years ago while chatting to the girls at play centre about untidy pantrys ...I was pretty mortified about the state of mine. A girlfriend offered right there an then to come up and help me sort it...I was way too embarrised

When we move to our property we just took everything from Dave's flat and popped it in our kitchen...then when we moved from the garage to the house a few years later we basically just threw it in this huge pantry and promptly lost it.

Then as a new mum in sleep deprivation I just brought stuff and randomly put it on the shelves.

Sadly I don't have a before shot but I do have a work in progress...

Attachment and addiction

This is an interesting article which for me covers areas of detachment and disconnection and the hazards of when looking into issues like addiction.

It's interesting when the writer sort of talks to the idea of of what I call "tough love" and how it doesn't really work it just disconnects and hurts the person your trying to "help". I've been questioning "tough love" for years but its really hard when our culture especially in NZ really has it in grained.

It's been warm to start off with with a sprinkle of rain as we came home from computer club at lunch time.

The wind has picked up and the temp inside is 23...nice
