Weather February 10
It's really odd for this time of year. We've had rain and wind and the temperature has dropped.
I don't think it means the end of summer just it's different...we could still be in for a long dry March, April. But for now full water tanks which is a first ever and still green lawns here.

Rain!
The one day...my brain is not so good at the moment ... I choose to put the washing on the line.
Wasp sting
Oh dear...boys...children.
All of a sudden there was a scream!
Ds5 and his little mate have been at a wasp nest in the garden...a very well hidden one.
Dave is allergic to wasps
I'm allergic to bees
Ds5 managed 1 sting which is great to what he could of had...heaps of the little yellow and blacks.
So far we don't seem to have any issues. And this morning it's swollen up and I've given some allergy relief.
I've been on a wasp mission this morning! Sprayed two nests.
Tomatoes
I'm not a great fan of raw tomato but we all love home made tomato sauce.
Years ago my mum worked in a canning factory as a young girl...since then she's always made her own fruit, and tomatoe sauce...now I and my family will not eat anything else...yuck!
So growing our own tomatoes is a great thing...also as they come on slowly to start with I can preserve a few at a time not taking me away from all my other jobs.

Yesterday's after lunch and dinner has been taken out.
